Hola, hoy estoy revisando un libro que comencé hace mucho tiempo, lo dejé hace más de un año y como me quedaban 100 páginas, decidí darle otra oportunidad y terminarlo porque no terminar los libros me hace sentir culpable.

Quería leer este libro desde que me enteré de esta saga durante Comic Con de 2008, hace una década. Lamentablemente, nunca pude conseguirlo en español y ahora que puedo leer en inglés, finalmente lo leí... y no cumplió con mis expectativas, principalmente porque acumulé altas expectativas durante 10 años.

Hello, today I’m reviewing a book I started a long time ago, I DNFd it over a year ago and as I had 100 pages left, I decided to pick it up again and finish it because not finishing books makes me feel guilty.

I wanted to read this book since I found out about this series during comic con 2008, yup, a decade ago, sadly, I could never get it in Spanish and now that I can read in English I finally read it… and it didn’t really live up to my expectations, mainly because I build up this high expectations for 10 years.

Portadas en el Mundo: Saga Artemis Fowl.

¡Hola! Hoy les traigo esta nueva sección en el blog titulada “Portadas en el Mundo” en la cual publicaré las diferentes portadas de un libro o saga que encuentre en los diferentes idiomas en los que se han publicado dichos libros.

El que escogí para inaugurar esto fue la saga Artemis Fowl, esto porque la última vez que fui a Book Off vi tres portadas diferentes de estos libros, yo tengo sólo el primer libro y como vi las portadas diferentes ya no compré el segundo. Tristemente resulta que el libro que yo tengo forma parte de una edición en inglés de la cual sólo salieron seis de los ocho libros, así que si quiero terminar de leer la saga, tendré que tener ediciones distintas, lo cual no me agrada mucho que digamos.

Sinopsis

Hello everyone! Today in starting this new section of my blog titled “Covers Around the World” in which I will post the different covers that I could find of a book or series in different languages.

The first one in doing is the Artemis Fowl series. I chose this one because the last time I went to book off I found three different covers of this series on the same shelf. I only own the first book of this series and I haven’t finished it yet, but while doing my research for covers I found out that there are only 6 out of 8 books in the edition I own.
