¡Hola! Ha pasado un tiempo desde mi última reseña, pero aquí estoy con una reseña del primer libro de la trilogía Remnant Chronicles, the Kiss of Deception.

The Kiss of Deception nos cuenta la historia de Lia, una princesa que huye con su amiga

Lia.

Pauline el día de su boda. Se escapan a un pequeño pueblo para comenzar una nueva vida. Mientras tanto, el padre de Lia ha enviado al ejército a buscarla. El Komizar ha enviado a un asesino. Y el Príncipe de Dalbreck, el hombre con quien se suponía debía casarse, la está buscando también.

El libro tiene una premisa interesante. Seguimos tres puntos de vista, el de Lia, el del principe y el del asesino. Tanto el príncipe como el asesino tienen un nombre con el cual se presentan con Lia, pero no se sabe quién es quién, por lo que fue divertido intentar adivinarlo.

El libro es de ritmo rápido hasta que Lia y Pauline se establecen en el pueblo y comienzan su nueva vida, sentí que el ritmo del libro se volvió lento y luego comenzó la parte de romance y fue un poco aburrido porque fue un insta-love por parte de ambos hombres, el asesino y el príncipe se enamoran inmediatamente de Lia.

Hello! It’s been a while since my last review but here I am with a review of the first book in the Remnant Chronicles trilogy, the Kiss of Deception.

Lia.

The Kiss of Deception tells us the story of Lia, a princess who runs away with her friend Pauline the day of her wedding. They escape to a small village to start a new life. Meanwhile, Lia's father has sent the army to search for her. The Komizar has sent an assassin. And the Prince of Dalbreck, the man who she was supposed to marry, is looking for her too.

The book has an interesting premise. We follow three points of view, Lia’s, the Prince’s and

the assassin’s. Both the prince and assassin are given a name and presented to Lia, but you don’t know who is who, so it was fun to try figure it out.

The book is fast paced until Lia and Pauline get established in the village and start their new life, I felt the book pace slowed down and then the romance part started and it was kinda boring because it was insta love, both guys, the assassin and the prince, fall for her right away.
